ride
three men, one very lively ford orion, and nothing else like it on tour
Three men. One 1980s Ford Orion called Stanley. One summer that refuses to go to plan.
Stanley is no ordinary prop. He spins, rotates and tips over into a moving playground, and the dancers ride him, scale him and throw themselves off him in stunts that pull gasps and laughs in the same breath.
Built for the open air, RIDE turns up in streets, squares and festival fields, and there’s genuinely nothing like it out there right now.
It’s bold, it’s daft, it’s properly physical. The kind of show you find yourself describing to someone the next day. And the day after that.
